• Reid Case Construction: Each M&M TH400 transmission is housed in a robust Reid Racing Super Hydra 400® case. These cases are redesigned and strengthened to address common weaknesses, featuring full 360-degree internal case "lugs" for enhanced center support and pressure plate retention. They are SFI 4.1 certified, ensuring maximum safety and durability for drag racing, off-road, and other high-stress applications. The modular, two-piece design allows for compatibility with various engine types by simply changing bolt-on bellhousings.
• Enhanced Input and Main Shafts: These transmissions feature a 1 3/16-inch input shaft and a 1-inch main shaft. The larger 1 3/16-inch input shaft is a significant upgrade for high-horsepower applications, providing increased strength and reliability compared to standard 1-inch shafts, which can be prone to failure in extreme conditions.
